Isn't it strange how we feel obligated to support friends & family in their gifts, even though we know they're not using them for the Lord??? This is Christian weakness! Beloved, God will never be pleased with us, until we learn to stand strong for Him!!!
Matthew 10:34-35 says "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."
Believe it or not, Satan has the power to bless you! (in the human sense of the word). He can give you riches, fame, popularity, ideas & abilities! So much so, that you would think it came from God if you do not study & watch closely, using the Godly & Biblical principles to govern these gifts.
Everybody & they momma think that God is leading them. But, if they speak or live contrary to God's word, they have no light!
The thing that people don't understand is, there can be good temporary results from the devil's work! Because deception is a mixture of good & evil. For instance...
Someone can be blessed, and even come into the church under it. But the affects of using the wrong tools will take its affect sooner or later.
Remember this text...
Matthew 7:22-23 "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Strange thing is, these people actually did these wonderful things without the help of God!
BUT THEY NEVER KNEW HIM!
SO, WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE?
The answer is SATAN!
We must be careful. These people were convinced that they were doing right because of the results, but that is never proof!
