Ladies.....I saw a movie called "Good Hair" and all I could do was shake my head! Accepting & being who you are means being secure with your natural self! Anything that makes you up is not you & is in direct competition with who you really are!!!
The only way to improve the made-up woman is to unmake her, for she first must be content & secure with how God made her before she can claim her independence & self worth. Women have enough to deal with living in this male controlled society! God does not want the woman to carry the extra burden of trying to improve her looks with false securities such as Make-up, Jewelry, Fake Body Parts and so on.
True happiness can never come from something that is made up & is not real! It is the devil's purpose to make you feel like you need those kinds of things & that you're not up to par without them. These practices will keep you enslaved for your lifetime.
Speaking as a man, I can honestly say that a clean, well groomed woman is the beauty and apple of my eye! No morning surprises, and you know what you've got! Also the woman does not have to compete with herself & others to constantly keep up with societies current profile of what you should be & look like.
The beauty industry makes BILLIONS of dollars keeping you searching for that new & better looking you! But if your keepin' it really real, beauty is only what God gave you. The rest is simply an illusion. Furthermore, if you are deeply honest with yourself, to say that you are secure with who you are, and yet have the desire or need to wear fake hair, fake nails, fake skin (make-up), jewelry, fake body parts etc. is really oxymoronic!
It takes strength to say these kinds of things to my lovely sisters!!! So if you disagree with what I'm saying, at least give me credit for standing up as a man & keeping it really real!!!
I love & appreciate all you sisters the way God has made you! Don't be mad at me, but life is too short to not enjoy the freedom of being YOU! Much Love!!!
